Kristi Kline Berryhill joins the newly established Fair Oaks Recovery Center (FORC) as the Chief Executive Officer in March 2023. Prior to joining FORC, Kristi was the Chief Operating Officer for Universal Health Services and Signature Health. She also spearheaded the opening of the first de novo acute psychiatric hospital in the greater Sacramento area in over 30 years.
Since 2007, Kristi has been a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) and worked in acute psychiatric hospital settings, where she focused on providing quality clinical care, opening new sites and service lines, developing operations management protocols, and building cohesive teams.
Prior to her work in acute psychiatric hospitals, Kristi was in a group practice specializing in autism spectrum disorders and trauma counseling, school settings for emotionally disturbed children and young adults, and outpatient settings. She earned her MA from the University of San Francisco and BA from University of California at Santa Barbara. Kristi lives in the greater Sacramento area with her husband, son, and dog where they enjoy outdoor activities in the California sunshine.
Dr. Trivedi is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist with a special interest in cross-cultural psychiatry, mental illness with co-occurring substance use disorders, and the use of interventional psychiatry (ECT & TMS) in treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders. She also has the license to prescribe Suboxone. She earned her medical degree in India and her early psychiatric training was completed at Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, India. Dr. Trivedi completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Arizona. She is in private practice since 2012. She has experience working in inpatient as well as outpatient mental health. She believes that the use of substances is a “cry for help” and usually these patients can stop using substances if their mental health is stable. Her warm, accepting approach is appreciated by many of her patients. She is known for her excellent personal care and ability to establish a therapeutic relationship with her patients.
Rodina is a compassionate leader with 20 years of experience in residential healthcare. She owned and operated two residential healthcare facilities in the Sacramento area for 13 years. She has advanced knowledge about California state regulations and has consulted and developed multiple healthcare facilities in Northern California. Rodina will integrate processes that will help Fair Oaks provide the best quality care.
Tina is committed to helping people overcome addictions to alcohol and drugs and believes that healing is a collaborative endeavor requiring honest caring without judgment. She cooperatively assists her clients in clarifying their goals for treatment rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues. Tina has been in the field of alcohol and drugs since 2005 and worked extensively with courts, probation, CPS, VA and the Department of Social Services.
Theresa holds a doctorate in addictive disorders and has been working in the substance use disorder field for more than 22 years. She has developed partnerships with CPS, VA, probation courts, and the department of social services, and is also the dean of instruction at the Breining Institute. She updated The Addiction Professional Manual for Counselor Competency (4th addition) and is certified to work with LGBTQIA2+ populations.
Melissa has more than 12+ years of direct experience in human resources in nonprofit and health care fields. Prior to joining Fair Oaks, Melissa was a Human Resources Knowledge Advisor for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where she provided consultation to HR professionals across the United States and globally regarding employment law, performance management, benefits administration, and employee relations. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis on human resources management from California State University, Chico, and a minor in managing diversity in organizations. She has a master’s degree in human resources management from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
Amanda Moore is the Business Office Manager for Fair Oaks Recovery Center. She brings over 14 years of extensive business operations experience in healthcare, real estate, and property management marketing industries. Previously, Amanda was the Office Manager for a Medical Spa within a Family Medicine Practice. She is specialized in insurance authorization, revenue capture/cycle management, audits, denial management, appeals and client retention.
