Theresa holds a doctorate in addictive disorders and has been working in the substance use disorder field for more than 22 years.
She has developed partnerships with CPS, VA, probation courts, and the department of social services, and is also the dean of instruction at the Breining Institute. She updated The Addiction Professional Manual for Counselor Competency (4th addition) and is certified to work with LGBTQIA2+ populations.
